Getting a cancer diagnosis is a frightening experience. You go through so many emotions from fear to fight mode. You need to decide from day one that you will give it your all in the fight against cancer. I found that taking things one day at a time was the best way to cope. That strategy and the support of family, friends, co-workers and most of all my faith got me through the biggest hurdles of my life.

September is one of the biggest months for cancer awareness and we are listing the cancer causes recognized that month at the end of this post.
